Meet the Producer

A Life Dedicated to the Land of Lucca Sicula

For over three generations, the Giambrone family have cared for the groves of Lucca Sicula — a small hilltop village in Agrigento, known for producing some of Sicily’s finest Biancolilla and Nocellara olives.

Giuseppe continues this tradition with the same precision, humility and devotion passed down from his father and grandfather. Every bottle of our olive oil begins with his hands, his soil, and his expertise.

Harvesting with Care, Not Machinery

Giuseppe still harvests the traditional way — by hand, using gentle combs and nets to protect each olive. This preserves both the trees and the fruit, ensuring only the healthiest olives are selected.

Every olive you taste has been touched only by the sun, the soil, and Giuseppe’s hands.

Ancient Trees, Naturally Grown

Many of Giuseppe’s olive trees are between 80–150 years old, growing in rocky hilltop soil with natural mountain breezes and abundant sunlight. No artificial irrigation. No chemicals. No shortcuts.

These conditions produce olives with exceptional aroma, sweetness and a clean peppery finish — the hallmark of premium Sicilian extra virgin olive oil.

Cold-Pressed Within Hours of Harvest

Giuseppe presses the olives within hours of picking them, keeping acidity naturally low and preserving the full polyphenol content. No heat, no filtration — just pure cold pressing using the traditional methods refined over generations.

This is why our oil tastes:

• fresh and grassy

• naturally sweet with gentle nuttiness

• finished with a clean Sicilian pepperiness

When you taste our olive oil, you’re tasting the land exactly as Giuseppe intended.

A Message From Giuseppe

The Giambrone family farm is built on passion, patience and love — a craft rooted in our history and proudly passed from father to son.

In Lucca Sicula, among centuries-old olive trees of Biancolilla and Nocellara, fragrant citrus groves and almond orchards in bloom, every season reflects an ancient gesture.

It is a deep bond with Sicilian soil, expressed most beautifully through our extra virgin olive oil: a precious product with an intense aroma and harmonious flavour, capturing in each drop the strength of the sun, the purity of the land, and the artisan care behind its creation.

This oil is more than food.

It is identity — a tradition that continues to live on.

A Producer We Trust — And a Family We’re Proud to Represent

When we visited Giuseppe’s grove, the first thing we noticed wasn’t the trees — it was his character.

Honest, humble, and deeply connected to the land.

We quickly realised this is not just farming.

This is heritage, care, and artisanship expressed through olives.

Partnering with Giuseppe allows us to bring the best of Sicily directly to homes, delis and restaurants across the UK.
